AMBA has partnered with CE City to assist you in helping your providers earn the PQRI bonus from Medicare through the PQRIwizard.  $299 per provider

      What is PQRIwizard?

The PQRIwizard is a fast, convenient, and cost-effective online tool to help collect and report quality measure data for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) PQRI incentive payment program. Similar to online tax preparation software, the PQRIwizard helps guide you through a few easy steps to help rapidly collect, validate, report, and submit the results to CMS for payment. The PQRIwizard is powered by the CECity RegistryTM, a CMS qualified registry for PQRI reporting.

      What is the Financial Incentive?

PQRI participants are eligible to receive a 2% financial incentive payment from CMS based on your total allowed charges for Physician Fee Schedule (PFS) covered services.

CMS bases your 2% payment on ALL of your total estimated charges for Physician Fee Schedule (PFS) covered services furnished during the reporting period.

CMS will issue the PQRI payment directly to the Eligible Professional. Historically, these payments have been released in the fourth quarter of the year following the reporting period. For example, PQRI 2010 payments would be released in the fourth quarter of 2011.

Traditionally, CMS issues incentive payments in the same method they issue your regular reimbursement. For example, if you receive Medicare reimbursement checks, you will receive your PQRI payment via check. Also, CMS issues the PQRI payment under the first valid practice location listed under the Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN).

      What is PQRI?

The Physician Quality Reporting Initiative (PQRI) was developed by CMS in 2007 as a voluntary reporting program that provides a financial incentive to physicians and other eligible professionals who report data on quality measures for covered services furnished to Medicare beneficiaries.

      What Measure Groups Are Available?

      PQRI Reporting Methods

An Eligible Professional may choose to report information on 1) Individual PQRI Quality Measures; or 2) Measure Groups. This information can be submitted in one of three ways 1) to CMS on Medicare Part B claims; 2) to a qualified PQRI registry; or 3) to CMS via a qualified electronic health record product.

Eligible Professionals that wish to report using the Measure Group option through a qualified registry can rely on the PQRIwizard to help them earn their incentive payment. PQRIwizard is powered by the CECity Registry, which has passed through a rigorous selection process conducted by CMS to become a CMS qualified registry for PQRI reporting.

The CECity Registry is also capable of supporting PQRI reporting using the Individual PQRI Quality Measure option. If you or your organization is interested in this option, please click
